The career path.
How I became a Personal Trainer.
In the beginning was the kickboxing. 1991, three years later, came the gym work, and in 1996 the black belt: 1st dan in Kickboxing and Self-Defence. I collected titles: Eight times Bavarian Champion, five times German National Champion, twice European runner-up… on and on… National squad, fourth place in the 1993 World Championships; always stepping up onto the podium. Then full contact Kickboxing. And twice more German National Champion.
The gym work added equipment-based training to the martial arts. And in my personal history, too: The industrial manager Marcus Walter and the e-commerce specialist Marcus Walter. But always there was the trainer and sports enthusiast.
A combination of a lot of sport, training courses, workshops and instructor trainings keep me at peak fitness – and since 2006 I have been working as an independent Personal Trainer and group Coach. I am employed by a number of studios for large group and Corporate Training. And through personal mentoring I help individuals achieve their health and fitness ambitions.
